I decided to create this picture book primarily as a way to dive into using ProCreate, a digital tool for drawing and illustration. I wanted to get comfortable with its features and explore its potential for my artwork. Alongside this technical exploration, I also wanted to experiment with a new drawing style and see how it suited my creative expression.

But beyond just mastering the tool and exploring my artistic preferences, I had a deeper intention for this project. I wanted to infuse the book with a meaningful message, something that would resonate with young readers on a personal level. That’s where the theme of loneliness came in.

In the book, I introduced the concept of loneliness in a gentle yet meaningful way, suitable for young children. Using engaging illustrations and a simple story, my goal was to illustrate the feelings of loneliness and how they can affect people.

Overall, this project was not just about creating a picture book; it was a journey of technical skill-building, and storytelling with a purpose.
